        [move]TO  BE  UPDATED  ACCORDINGLY  WITH  THE  TRANSITION FROM YAHOO TO THE NEW  SITE[/move]

                                      ----LEAGUE FORMAT----

The league comprises 16 franchises.
Teams will have to be based in North American cities; owners are encouraged to pick for their team a name that can be distinguished from NHL teams and logos can not be identical to the ones of existing professional teams.
The 16 teams will be subdivided in two different conferences (8 teams each); depending on their geographical position (and their meridian in particular) they will be part of Eastern or Western Conference.
Four teams from each conference will take part in the Stanleit Cup playoffs.

-Schedule
The season lasts 27* weeks: 21 of regular season, 6 of playoffs. Since 2016/17: 22 matchup + preliminary round, about 6 days x matchup. Then 3 playoff weeks (about 14 days x matchup).

Preliminary round week matchups
4a EST vs 5a EST
4a OVEST vs 5a OVEST

Teams will face every conference rival from 1st through 7th week.
All the eight available extraconference match-ups will be played from week #8 to week #15 (the order of match-ups for weeks #1-7 and weeks #8-15 will be randomly determined by the new site).
From week #16 to week #22 there will be the repetition of weeks #1-7 match-ups.
On the 23rd week of the season the 4th and 5th seeds of each conference will face each other to determine which team will advance to the Stanleit Cup playoffs.
The other intraconference match-ups of the 21st week will be determined in order to minimize the number of third repetitions. If the minimum number available of third recurring games is provided by several combinations, it will be played the first one (from up to bottom) that qualifies in the following list:
1a-2a 3a-6a 7a-8a
1a-8a 3a-6a 2a-7a
1a-7a 3a-6a 2a-8a
1a-3a 2a-6a 7a-8a
1a-7a 2a-6a 3a-8a
1a-8a 2a-6a 3a-7a
1a-8a 2a-3a 6a-7a
1a-2a 3a-7a 6a-8a
1a-6a 3a-7a 2a-8a
1a-2a 3a-8a 6a-7a

Afterwards, three playoff rounds of 2 weeks each will be played from week #22 to week #27.

* only 25 weeks in the 09/10 season, because of the Olympic games; hence, any week number above must be reduced by two with reference to the 09/10 season.

-Stanleit Cup playoffs
For both conference, the first three teams in the standings at the end of the regular season will qualify directly for the post season.
The 4th team will be determined through a match-up between the teams that are in 4th and 5th position after the 20th* week of the regular season. This match-up will be a playoff elimination round and, as such, its outcome will be provided by the h2h only.

The gap required for the 4th best team of a conference to avoid the preliminary round versus the 5th team has been set at 720 points for the current season. It will drop to 600 points from the 2014/2015 season onward.

The final seeds for the playoffs will be determined by the standings at the end of the regular seasons, which means after the 21st day is completed; the only exception is that the winner of the preliminary round will get a playoff spot (which one will be determined by the final standings) no matter what, and the loser of the preliminary round will stay out of the playoffs no matter what.

* after the 18th week in the 2009/10 season, as the regular season will be reduced to 19 weeks because of the Olympic games.

Playoff seeding:
#1 (1st overall)
#2 (other Conference winner)
#3 (next best overall)
#4 (next best overall)
#5 (next best overall)
#6 (next best overall)
#7 (next best overall)
#8 (next best overall)

Tree:
The Stanleit Cup playoffs will be subdivided into Eastern conference and Western conference playoffs:
Week 22&23: Conference Semifinals
a)   1E --vs-- 4E
b)   2E --vs-- 3E
c)   2W --vs-- 3W
d)   1W --vs-- 4W
Week 24&25: Conference Finals
e)   Winner-a)   vs  Winner-b)
f)    Winner-d)  vs  Winner-c)
Week 26&27: Stanleit Cup Finals
Winner-e)  vs  Winner–f)

-Consolation playoffs
All the teams that don't qualify for the Stanleit Cup playoffs will take part in a 3 round playoff competition that will determine which teams will get the two best lottery positions for the upcoming entry draft (see –entry draft for details of how the full definitive order will be determined). If either of the two finalists doesn’t possess anymore its 1st round pick, it will be compensated with a bonus on the cap: the winner will be able to spend up to 103.5M the following season and the runner up to 101.5M.

Seeding and match-ups are determined by the final general standings, without any separation between the conferences.

Seeding:
#1 (best overall to not qualify for the Stanleit Cup playoffs)
#2 (next best overall to not qualify for the Stanleit Cup playoffs)
#3 (next best overall to not qualify for the Stanleit Cup playoffs)
#4 (next best overall to not qualify for the Stanleit Cup playoffs)
#5 (next best overall to not qualify for the Stanleit Cup playoffs)
#6 (next best overall to not qualify for the Stanleit Cup playoffs)
#7 (next best overall to not qualify for the Stanleit Cup playoffs)
#8 (next best overall to not qualify for the Stanleit Cup playoffs)

Tree:
Week 22&23: 1st round
a)   #1 --vs-- #8
b)   #4 --vs-- #5
c)   #3 --vs-- #6
d)   #2 --vs-- #7
Week 24&25: 2nd round
e)   Winner-a)   vs  Winner-b)
f)    Winner-d)  vs  Winner-c)
Week 26&27: Final
Winner-e)  vs  Winner–f)

-Playoff match-ups
Each playoff round will last two weeks (preliminary round excepted) and its outcome will be determined by the results of the h2h match-up.
The best seeded team of the match-up will be the home team.
The home team gets one clear advantage, as the 'home factor' will be the tie-breaker for tied stats and the (resulting) final score.

                                            ----ROSTER----

Each franchise ownership must post the starting subdivision of their roster (main and farm team) and players' contracts into the "Rosters definement" thread within September 4th; it will be responsibility of each manager to keep his roster updated & accurate throughout the season on both yahoo and database (it will also be available the opportunity to easily post and keep it updated on the forum through copy&paste after using the 'export to forum' tag in the database site).
As for the hit on the salary cap, the rosters will be submitted into a database that will automatically provide updated totals (if the rosters are as well) :
http://www.fantakaccy.altervista.org/fa ... /index.php   [courtesy(!) of Kachlex]

-Main roster
Made of 25 players max.

The roster must always stay identical on the two yahoo leagues; on the contrary, daily lineups can be different.

positions:
C, C, C, C
LW, LW, LW, LW
RW, RW, RW, RW
D, D, D, D, D, D
G, G
BN, BN, BN, BN, BN
IR, IR, IR, IR

-Injured reserve status

Check IR Rules topic for updated rules: http://forum.playitusa.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=16575

This is the site we will use for reference from now onward:
http://prosportsdaily.sportsdirectinc.c ... uries.html
(that could change in the future if deemed necessary)

BASIC  RULE:
To be permitted to legally set a player on IR he needs to be listed on that page as out (injured) for at least 10 days, whereas the following specifics apply:
- "out indefinitely" => IR ok
- "early [insert month]" = 7th day of the month
- "mid [insert month]" = 16th day of the month
- "late [insert month]" = 30th day of the month
- I-R = IR ok
- ques, doub, prob = NO IR

examples:
if a player is listed as “mid october“ he can be set as IR only within october 5th (supposed to be back available on 16th → out 10 days).
if a player is listed as “late october“ he can be set as IR only within october 19th.
if a player is listed as “early november“ he can be set as IR only as long as there are at least 4 days left in the current month.

The procedure we are going to use is self-certification, with penalties (to be determined) for teams caught breaking the rule.
You won't need to ask anyone for permission, but please note that the log on the league site homepage shows your IR changes and will keep track of them.
Any time a GM notices a suspect IR move by another team, he is encouraged to check (a click is all it takes) if such move was compliant with the rule and report here http://forum.playitusa.com/http://vps.l ... ic.php?t=8 any infraction.
As you can see, the site we use for reference lists the last time the prognosis for return was updated: in case of infractions, penalties will be applied only if the last update occurred before (or on the same day) when the player was put on IR.

Once a player is set as IR the system will keep him unavailable for full 2 weeks. Please remind this before putting a player on IR.
Only after those 2 weeks the GM will have the chance to unlock the IR status and use that player again.

Once the player is back playing, the system will prevent his team from making any roster move until he will have been removed from IR status (just like happened on yahoo).

-Farm team
Every franchise has a farm team where all the prospects/veterans can be send down or called up.
Each franchise can not have more than 50 players under contract (i.e. signed) at the same time.
The distinction between main rosters and farm teams will be lost during the off-season, but by the end of September GMs will have to specify the composition of their starting main roster (of max 25 players).

Only players on the main roster are eligible for a spot in the lineup.
Only players under contract are available to be called up from the farm team.
If the manager's main roster is full, to make a call up (at least)one of the players on the main roster will either have to be waived (or simply sent down to the farm team, if he has less than 100 games), bought out or traded.
Any player is eligible to be sent down to the "minors", but if that player has played 100 or more NHL regular season games he must be placed on waivers for 2 days before being allowed to join the minor team.
During that period of time, any fellow manager can option to pick up this "player in transition" (see -waivers)
When a player is called up from the minors he doesn't have to go through waivers.

Veterans (at least 100 NHL R.S. games played) can stay unused on the farm team for a full solar year*. After such period, if another team denounces (and shows) a full year is passed since the last time that player appeared on the main roster the owner has one week to decide whether to bring him up into the main roster, trade him or make him available through waivers. In case the player undergoes waivers untouched he will be back on the same farm team and will be assured another full solar year of 'farm protection'. In case the player gets traded, he will join the farm of his new team and will still be assured a new full solar year of 'farm protection' (if a player lying in the farm team is traded, he can join straight away the farm of his new team without having to pass through waivers even if he already has 100 NHL regular season games under his belt).
*the count of the solar year can not start before the player has reached the 100 NHL R.S. games plateau.

-Moves
Moves must be completed at once (well, almost..) on both yahoo leagues, and obviously they have to be identical.
There are two limits to the number of moves you can do:
-during the entire season you can not do more than 50 (since 2019-20) 60 moves.
-during any single week (excepted the first one), you can’t use more than 5 moves (starting with this year
  yahoo offers this feature in the h2h format, so things will be automatically under control). 10 (since 2019-20) 12 during playoff weeks.
The moves counting starts before the opening of the regular season, once the FA session is over, with the eventual recalls from the farm team to the main roster. However, Entry draftees recalls will not count against the total until the season starts (till October 3rd).
During the season, recalls, waiver claims and FA signings all count the same, one move each.
It’s mandatory to report on the forum (in the waiver thread) only the moves that require a waiver entry (demotions of veterans). If not otherwise specified (announce of release), the players that survived waivers will be added to the farm team.

Any move that implies the addition of a new salary to your team (waivers claim and FA signings) must be submit into the database right after the completion of the move.

-Waivers
Any player can be put on waivers; as soon as he is placed on waivers his spot on the main roster is instantly considered open. Once (and if) the player clears, he is automatically assigned to the farm team unless his GM declares his release on the forum.

Waivers will be held publicly in a dedicated thread on the league forum.
The waiver period lasts 48hrs for every player; the only exception occurs when the team with the current higher waiver priority in the league (see later) puts its claim in the apposite thread, automatically acquiring the player’s rights (thus ending the process. This means the last team in the standings will be able to add that player straight after claiming him).
A player claimed out of waivers joins directly the main roster and the GM have 36hrs available (the available 36hrs do not start running from the moment of the claim, but from the expiring of the 48hrs waiver period -no matter if the process was stopped earlier by a last team's claim- ) to make room for him, just like when a new FA is acquired during the season. If the claiming team fails to add the new player on yahoo and/or on the database within the appointed time limits, the claimed player becomes a free agent but that team will pay the salary of his running contract for the remainder of the season.

Please note that, if claimed, exactly 48hrs after being waived the player is automatically assigned to his new team, no matter if the mods fail to announce the assignement.
The contract will stay exactly the same if the claim was placed during the first 36hrs, its salary will instead raise by 10% (or by a minimum of 0.2M) in case the claim was made in the last 12hrs available (the length of the contract won’t be affected in any case).
As already clarified in the contracts chapter, a player released after clearing waivers (released after the 48hrs passed without any team placing a claim for him) will still count against the cap of his former team till the originally scheduled end of his contract (even if a different team signs him as a FA before his contract is over). A new team will instead relieve his contract’s cap hit if it claims him off waivers.

During the season the priority list will be derived reversing the standings of the previous Monday.
Among the teams that placed a claim on the player during the available 48hrs, the one with the higher priority will win his rights.
On Monday the order of the previous week will count till 16.00 CET, from 16.01 onward the new standings will determine a new order. Hence, waivers started before Monday at 16.00 that are set to last beyond that limit will have their output determined by the standings of the new week (unless the team on top of the priority list claimed such player before 16.00 of Monday were reached).
During a week (from Monday at 16.01 till next Monday at 16.00) the waivers list remains the same, no matter what; i.e. a team will keep his position in the list even after picking up a player off waivers (the purpose being not discouraging teams from using their priority and helping the weaker ones).
The only exception will occur during the waiver window of September 2008 foregoing the FA session. In 2008, during the whole month of September once a team claims a player off waivers it instantly falls back to the last spot in the priority list. So, at the end of each 48hrs period where a player is claimed, there will be a new priority list (where that team is last) to count on for the next (or already underway) waiver process.
In 2008, the starting order will be determined by lottery.

From 2009 onward, the starting list will be given by the Entry draft order (second round of the same year) and the priority order will stay the same until the end of the first week of the season (Monday at 16.00).

During the playoffs there will be two opposite orders applying to two categories of players:
-for the waived players who have a contract running through next season the order will still be derived reversing the final regular season standings.
-on the contrary, for the waived players whose contract is set to expire in the upcoming off-season, the priority order will exactly reflect the final regular season standings (the top ranked team will have the higher priority).
Such orders will remain the same during the entire playoffs (won’t change because of previous claims).

Once teams are excluded from the competition (out of playoffs) they lose the right of both 'putting on waivers' and 'claiming off waivers' players whose contracts will expire in the upcoming off-season.
The league also reserves the right to take off the availability of players waived by teams facing elimination (down in the score in the second half of the playoff match-up); such teams can still waive their players, but if the league assesses there is no point doing it (no advantage coming from waiving the player, or no reason to waive him instead of a worse player) and the move could be meant to favour another participant still in the competition, they can be declared unavailable till the end of the season.
Such limitations don’t apply to players under contract for the following season.

If a team loses a player through waivers it will be forbidden to bring him back during the following seasons until his contracts will run out.  i.e. the player could be brought back to his original team only as a UFA or RFA signing (after going through an open bidding).

                                      ----CONTRACTS----

Each team can have a max of 50 signed contracts.
The total of all players' salaries will have to be always* under the established salary cap, set at 100M**.
*always means always, i.e. also during the off-season and during bidding processes where leading offers are instantly computed into the salary total.
**barring bonuses, penalties, buyouts

Aside from the prospects who have yet to play 10 NHL regular season games AND who have yet to join their team's main roster, every other player on a team is assigned a contract, whether it be pre-set via the Opening draft chart, or via a FA contract.

Contracts can be one, two or three years long (yes, aside from entry draftees' ones, the max length of a contract is 3 years).
For the players whose rights have been acquired through the Opening draft, the length of the contract must be declared within September 4th, before the start of the free agents session in September 2008 (September 6th).
The players acquired during the free agency session will have their contract’s length specified during the bidding process (see the related chapter).
The players attained through the Entry draft will have to be signed at the latest before playing their 11th NHL regular season game (accordingly with what is specified in the draftees rookie contracts part).

Aside from the Entry draftees' contracts (see the related paragraph),
for the 1st season, each manager is allowed to sign:
7 – 3 years contracts
9 – 2 years contracts
unlimited - 1 year contracts

If a team uses all his multiyear contracts spots on its drafted players, it won't be allowed to offer multiyear contracts to his eventual free agents signings during the first FA session (September 2008).
Please note that during the season teams are never going to be allowed to offer multiyear contracts to free agents, no matter how many multiyear contracts they are running.
However, the number of players under multiyear contracts could still exceed 16 during the 2008/09 season (via trade).
Starting with the second FA session (September 2009), teams will have 16 spots available to protect players still under contract for the upcoming season, whatever number of years left in the contract (note that players with entry draft contracts do not contribute to such number, see the paragraph -Draftees' contracts). During the following September FA sessions (and contrary to what happened in 2008), teams are allowed to sign new multiyear contracts even if entering the FA session they exploited all their 16 spots available to protect multiyear contracts.
i.e. there is no limit to the number of multiyear contracts teams can have; what is limited is the number of players with multiyear contracts that each team can protect for the september free agency.

Obviously, a player signed at the start of the 2008/09 season to a 3yrs contract would then lose a year after such season and thus become signed for only 2 more yrs at the start of the 2009-2010 season. The same goes for a 2yrs contract, becoming a 1yr contract during the following season. However, at the last September FA session where he is under contract, his 1 year left will still count as a multiyear contract, filling one of the 16 spots available for players' protection.

There are only four ways to escape your paying commitments (against the cap) toward a signed player:
1-trade
2-he falls into the Retired/Signed-overseas category before the start of the season
3-he is picked up from waivers by another team
4-buyout

If a player goes through waivers untouched, his salary will still count against the cap whether he gets demoted to the farm team or released (even in the case he gets signed as a FA by another team later on).
A player released before his contract is expired can not be signed as a FA by the same team (he will have to have played for another team before that will be possible again).

When a player’s contract expires at the end of a given season, he becomes a free agent and all GM’s will be allowed to bid on him during the next FA session scheduled for September.
Players without running contracts will be either Unrestricted Free Agents (UFA) or Restricted Free Agents (RFA).

-Exceeding Free Agents (EFA)
Any player still under (a non entry draft) contract for the following season, but not protected by his team for the upcoming september free agency session.
No compensation is awarded if the player gets signed by a different team.
If during the september FA session the player gets offered a new contract but is retained by his team, the length of his contract will stay untouched, whereas the salary will become the one he got offered.
If the EFA doesn't get any offer during the free agency, he will remain on the same team under the same terms of his running contract, just like if he were protected.

-Restricted Free Agents (RFA)
Before the beginning of each new season every GM will be allowed to name 3 Restricted Free Agents (plus one for every player coming off a rookie contract no longer than 3 years). Any player whose contract has expired may be named a RFA; however, managers can designate any given player as RFA only ONCE (hence 4 yrs is the max tenure for a player with the same team without getting signed to a brand new contract through an open bidding process).

If the GM who designated the RFA decides NOT to match the offer, he will be compensated as per the following table:
RFA Compensation Brackets
>10M : 1st and 2nd round picks of the next Entry draft + 1st round pick of the following Entry draft.
8.6M -10M : 1st and 2nd round picks of the next Entry draft + 2nd round pick of the following Entry draft.
7.1M-8.5M : 1st and 2nd round picks of the next Entry draft.
5.6M-7.0M : 1st and 3rd round picks of the next Entry draft
3.6M-5.5M : 2nd rounder of the next Entry draft
1.5M-3.5M : 3rd rounder of the next Entry draft

The numbers reported above refer to the salary offered in the new contract (and not to the one of the expired contract).

That GM (team) should not bring back such player (via trade or waivers) until the expiration of the contract he refused to match.
If his team is caught trying to reacquire the player before its contract (the one he received as RFA) expires, the related transaction will be nullified and a 0.2M penalty will be applied to its salary cap.

- Entry Draftees Contracts
The players selected in the Entry Drafts are automatically protected for as long as they do not play their 10th NHL regular season game. At that point in time, in case the player has not been signed to a contract yet, the GM must decide if he wants to activate him (sign him and start 'to pay' his salary against the cap) or waive him into the FA pool.
Obviously, you may only start your drafted player in the lineup after bringing him up into the main roster, and only players already signed to a contract can be called up to the main roster.
Note that you can sign your prospects as soon as you want, i.e. you can do it even before they play their first ever NHL game; that way you would be able to use in your lineup that particular player since his game 1.
Entry draftees' contracts are not subjected to the same limitations applied to Opening draft's and free agents' contracts, hence they will never concur to the total number of protected multiyear contracts, whose max is fixed at 16, as previously enounced. As long as they are under contracts (or they have yet to play their 10th NHL game), those players will be automatically protected without using one of the 16 available spots.
You can have as many multiyears Entry draftees' contracts as you want, but obviously they will all concur to the hit on the cap, the only limitation that applies here. Of course, once his first contract (and its eventual RFA option) is over, the player becomes a FA like anyone else and the fact he was selected out of the Entry draft doesn't count anymore (hence his next contracts will be subjected to all the limitations explained above)

When they sign their prospects, GMs can freely choose the length of the contract.
When their contracts run out, teams can use a RFA on them (if you sign them to 4 years you'll have to use one of your 3 appointed RFA spots, if you sign them to 3yrs or below you will get an extra RFA to use on him).
If a RFA coming off a draftees' contract doesn't get any offer from other teams, he will be back to his original team for one more year with the same salary he was paid in the previous season.
If, due to salary cap restrictions, the GM cannot give a contract to the prospect once he has played his tenth game in the NHL, then* the team will lose that player.

the player will have to be signed before his 11th game to not become an unrestricted free agent.

-Buyouts
..to be updated..

-Retired/Signed_overseas
If one of your players has signed overseas or has retired during the off season, he can be knocked off your roster and free of cap hit. You just need to release him in the apposite thread (http://forum.playitusa.com/http://vps.l ... ic.php?t=6) within the same deadline established to set the starting roster on the league site, reporting reliable link(s) that prove your claim to exercise the annulment right is legit. As soon as that's done (and approved), you can get his contract off your overall salary using the apposite tool in the new site, so if you release such player before (or during) the september free agency session, his corresponding cap room will become available for your biddings.
If you decide to keep him not to lose his rights, he will count toward your roster and cap despite not playing in the NHL anymore.
Please note that a player who signs in Europe falls into this category only if, when acquired, one of the two following conditions applied:
- he was under contract with an NHL team and he was playing in North America;
- he was a FA that played in the NHL during the previous season and didn't play outside of N.America afterwards.
Once the NHL season has started, you can not be relieved of such players' contracts by releasing them (you are allowed to release them just like any other player, but your team will still pay their contract).
However, if a player retires or signs overseas during the season and he is under contract for the next one(s) as well, during the following off season you'll be able to get free of the left contractual obligations.
* during September 2008 if a team signed that player to a multiyear contract it will also get that multiyear contract spot back, available to be used on a free agent before the start of the regular season.
example:
The Kings signed Sundin to a two years contract. If Sundin retires after the start of the regular season, the Kings will be relieved of his cap hit only during the 2009 off-season. If he retires during the free agency session, they will be relieved of the full contract and will be able to use one more 2 years contract on a FA until the free agency session ends.

                                          ----TRADES----

Starting with Sunday, May 4th 2008, it will be possible to complete trades with managers of other teams.
There is no limit on the number of trades each team can perform during the year.
The trade deadline is February 22nd at midnight. The interruption will cease at the end of the playoffs.

Trades must be proposed in the dedicated thread on the boards and the accepting GM must post his approval inside it. Once 24 hours from that moment are passed without complaints, the trade is automatically approved by the league and therefore processed on yahoo.
Players involved in the deal will be made available on their new teams’ rosters according to yahoo’s timing.
Any trade is expected to be for the well being of both teams.
If during that period of time (24hrs) several GMs will complain about it (considering it blatantly one sided even after weighting in its impact on the future -the complaining manager must provide proper explanation to why he rejects the trade- ), the trade will be furtherly evaluated by a committee* comprised of 3 elected GMs (if one or two of them are not available or are involved in the trade, they will be replaced by the designated alternates) that will be asked to come up with a decision within 48 hours from the moment the deal was firstly confirmed by the accepting GM. Unanimity will be required to veto a trade. Hence, all what it takes for it to be approved is one of the three voters ruling it acceptable (previous confrontation with the other members of the committee).
* 2008/2009 Commission: The Anzer, Hobbit83, Jovocop. Vicram, bure and Svizzero86 will serve as substitutes
(see election here).

* 2009/2010 Commission: The Anzer, Hobbit83, Kachlex. Mazziero, MattBellamy and Paolino23 will serve as substitutes.

As for the teams featuring two GMs, as soon as a GM of the two franchises involved in the trade shows up (within the 24hrs limit) in disagreement with a deal previously confirmed by his partner, the trade is canceled.
Both partner GMs in fact will be considered to have mandatory powers if not otherwise specified and unanimity is required from the parts involved in the trade. Silence will be interpreted as assent.

During the Christmas holidays the following limitations will apply: it won't be possible to complete(announce) any trade from december 22nd at midnight (CET) till december 26th at midnight (the apposite thread will be closed on december 23rd and will re-open on 26th, but even if a trade is posted on 26th its 24hours evaluation time will start at midnight 26th. If a trade is announced on december 22nd, the time left available at midnight will keep on running on december 27th).
The same will occur from december 30th at midnight to january 2nd at midnight.
During the drafts, the deal is considered approved as soon as 2 hours have passed (without serious complaints) since both teams’ GMs confirmed it on the board.
During the rest of the league's offseason (trades posted from April 15th till August 25th, aside from draft days) the time available to protest a trade will expand to 7 days. However, during the week aforegoing the draft, the time available will be the time left before the start of the draft.

A trade that is not proposed and approved on the boards will not be allowed; therefore, if a trade is passed on yahoo, but there is a lacking agreement from either manager on the forum, the commissioners committee will reverse the trade.

Once a team trades a player, it will be forbidden to bring him back along the rest of his contract.
i.e. the player could be brought back to his original team only as a UFA signing (after going through an open bidding)

If a player lying in the farm team is traded, he can join straight away the farm of his new team without having to pass through waivers even if he already has 100 NHL regular season games under his belt.

Draft picks may be traded freely between teams for up to two years in the future (this limit stands for conditional draft picks as well).
i.e. during the 2008 Entry draft you are allowed to trade picks from the 2010 draft, but not from the 2011 draft. During the 2009 offseason (hence as soon as the NHL regular season is over, thus before the NHL draft) you are allowed to trade picks from the 2011 draft, but not from the 2012 draft; and so on (2013 picks will become available once the 2011 off-season starts).

No money can be traded in this league.

                                   ----DRAFT----

-Opening draft (archived - started on May 15th 2008, completed on June 9th 2008)
Both 2008 drafts orders are determined through the lottery held on May 3rd 2008 (see Italian version for details - not available at the moment).
In the Opening draft teams will select the players that will form their opening main roster, made of 25 players.
Any player that has played at least 10 NHL regular season games is eligible.

The draft order (determined through a lottery) will be snake-type.

Before announcing a trade, please verify that your total number of picks in the Opening draft will stay the same (25) and that the resulting total salary of your team is not expected to exceed the 96M limit
Just like draft picks, drafted playes can be dealt as long as the roster stays at 25 players at the end of the Opening draft and the resulting estimated salary total doesn't exceed the 96M figure.
Any trade assessed to bring one team's estimated salary total* (right after the opening draft) beyond 96M will be automatically vetoed before the draft proceeds.
The figures reported in the chart are the wages the players will earn on each year of the chosen contract (1ys, 2yrs, 3yrs); the compensation will remain fixed throughout the length of their contracts.
*The estimated salary total is calculated assuming every player would receive a one year contract.

Please note that a drafted player who won't be on yahoo list for the 2008/09 season will still receive at least a one year contract unless he falls under the retired/signed-overseas category. It will be up to his GM deciding the length of the contract and the eventual demotion to the minors (through waivers) or the eventual cut (via buyout).

-Entry draft (2008's started on June 26th, completed on July 2nd)
Any player that has played less than 10 NHL regular season games and born before September 16th 1990 is eligible for the 2008 Entry draft.
The date cut-off will become "born before September 16th 1991" for the 2009 NHL Entry draft (and so on..), whereas the NHL regular season games limit will remain the same.

The Entry draft consists of 4 rounds the first year (2008) and of only 3 rounds the following years.
The start is scheduled for the first week of July (duration depends on teams' speediness, see Draft proceedings below)

Players selected in the Entry draft will be automatically inserted into the belonging farm team.

Entry draft order
The order of selection for the first Entry draft (2008) is elicited reversing the order of the Opening draft.
The following years the order is not snake-type anymore and is defined by the results of the preceding season. However, for the first round there are some specifics to discourage tanking: the two top seeds of the pre-lottery order will be awarded to the teams that reach the final in the consolation playoffs (the winner will get the 1st, the other finalist the 2nd); the pre-lottery positions from 3rd to 8th will be provided by the final general standings, reversed without considering the two teams that reached the consolation playoff final).
All the 8 teams that didn't qualify for the main playoffs draw will be matched with real NHL teams, accordingly with the following table:

pre-lottery ranking 2015 -----------------------------------------------------------real NHL pre-lottery ranking 2015

#1) winner of Consolation playoffs: #1 ==> 20%
#2) loser of Consolation playoffs final: #2 & #9 ==> 18.5%
#3) worst team in the final overall standings to not qualify for the Consolation playoffs final: #3 & #7 ==> 18%
#4) next worst team in the final overall standings to not qualify for the Consolation playoffs final: #4 & #8 & #14 ==> 16.5%
#5) next worst team in the final overall standings to not qualify for the Consolation playoffs final: #5 & #11 ==> 11.5%
#6) next worst team in the final overall standings to not qualify for the Consolation playoffs final: #6 ==> 7.5%
#7) next worst team in the final overall standings to not qualify for the Consolation playoffs final: #12 & #13 ==> 4.5%
#8) next worst team in the final overall standings to not qualify for the Consolation playoffs final: #10 ==> 3.5%

pre-lottery ranking -----------------------------------------------------------real NHL pre-lottery ranking
#1 winner of consolation playoffs------------------------------------------------------------#1
#2 loser of consolation playoffs final----------------------------------------------------------#2
#3 worst team in the final overall standings to not qualify for the Consolation playoffs final----#3 & #9
#4 next worst overall to not qualify for the Consolation playoffs final-----------------------#4 & #10 & #11
#5 next worst overall to not qualify for the Consolation playoffs final---------------------#5 & #12 & #13 & #14
#6 next worst overall to not qualify for the Consolation playoffs final-----------------------------#6
#7 next worst overall to not qualify for the Consolation playoffs final-----------------------------#7
#8 next worst overall to not qualify for the Consolation playoffs final-----------------------------#8

The winner of the lottery will be the team matched with the NHL team that wins the NHL lottery draft.
As a result, that team will move up 4 spots, thus determining the final order of selection for the upcoming Entry draft.

Example:
casual guess ranking of teams excluded from the Stanleit Cup playoffs, resulting from the final regular season standings (after 21st week):
1- (16) Pittsburgh
2- (15) Sanjose
3- (14) Ontario
4- (13) Toronto
5- (12) Dallas
6- (11) Ingersoll
7- (10) Philadelphia
8- (9) Honolulu
(16 means worst team in the final general standings, each lower number means the next worse team in the final general standings to not qualify for the Stanleit Cup playoffs)

Supposing Ingersoll wins the consolation playoffs in a final over Dallas, the ranking gets updated as follows:
1- (11) Ingersoll
2- (12) Dallas
3- (16) Pittsburgh
4- (15) Sanjose
5- (14) Ontario
6- (13) Toronto
7- (10) Philadelphia
8- (9) Honolulu

This is the pre-lottery order that will be matched with corresponding real NHL teams.
Supposing the 6th ranked team in the NHL pre-lottery ranking wins the lottery, Toronto will be the team advancing 4th spots and the resulting definitive ranking will provide our Entry draft order for the first eight picks:
1- (11) Ingersoll
2- (13) Toronto
3- (12) Dallas
4- (16) Pittsburgh
5- (15) Sanjose
6- (14) Ontario
7- (10) Philadelphia
8- (9) Honolulu
(So the worst case (unlikely) scenario for the team that finished last after the regular season is picking at #4. Its chances of getting the 1st overall pick will be 48.20%, 18.8% or 14.2% depending on the consolation playoffs outcome.)

The rest of the 1st round order will be completed following the final general standings, except for the 16th spot that will be automatically assigned to the Stanleit Cup winner.

Hence, considering the previous example, the entire 1st round order will be:
1- (11) Ingersoll
2- (13) Toronto
3- (12) Dallas
4- (16) Pittsburgh
5- (15) Sanjose
6- (14) Ontario
7- (10) Philadelphia
8- (9) Honolulu
9- worst overall to qualify for (and not win) the Stanleit Cup playoffs
10- next worst overall to qualify for (and not win) the Stanleit Cup playoffs
11- next worst overall to qualify for (and not win) the Stanleit Cup playoffs
12- next worst overall to qualify for (and not win) the Stanleit Cup playoffs
13- next worst overall to qualify for (and not win) the Stanleit Cup playoffs
14- next worst overall to qualify for (and not win) the Stanleit Cup playoffs
15- next worst overall to qualify for (and not win) the Stanleit Cup playoffs
16- Stanleit Cup Champions

The 2nd and 3rd round will instead follow the following order:
1- (16) Pittsburgh
2- (15) Sanjose
3- (14) Ontario
4- (13) Toronto
5- (12) Dallas
6- (11) Ingersoll
7- (10) Philadelphia
8- (9) Honolulu

-Draft proceedings
Once the previous team in the order has drafted, the following team will have a max of 4 hours to make its pick (once 14 players are drafted on the same day, the time available for the following teams to pick on that day will grow to 6 hours). Please note that such limit should not be overused; you're expected to make your selection as soon as possible once you realize you are on the clock, i.e. without using the full 4 hrs.
This period of time will be counted only from 9.00 to 24.00 CET, unless the owner lies in North America.
This means that if your team gets on the clock at 22.00, you will have till 11.00 of the next day to make your pick
If a team fails to post its selection (directly or through a spokesman) within 4 hrs (or 6, if 15th or lower in the list of the day), the next ones can proceed with their picks. However, the missing GM will be able to post his (picking from the left available players) as soon as he comes back.
In case a team doesn't make any selection in two full rounds, the league will momentarily sospend the draft to recruit a new GM to support (and if assessed necessary, eventually replace) the management of such team.

If a team announces a trade of his upcoming pick after getting on the clock, there will be 2 hrs for the committee to evaluate and check it (see -trades). Once the trade is approved, the new team on the block will have only 2 more hours to make its (just acquired) pick.
If a trade is announced before or during the draft, but not after one of the involved teams is on the clock, the available time for the committee to check (and if necessary reject) it will follow the standard rules (see -trades) with two limitations: not more than the time left before the traded pick gets on the clock, but never less than two hours.

                               ----SCORING SYSTEM----
                                              (up to date)

The sum of three addends (A, B, C) will provide the points total achieved every week.
Such sum is the number that will be added to the standings.

a)  Fantasy Points Total

-Scoring Categories-
offense: G, A, P, +/-, PIM, Hits, BS, TA, PPP, SHP, GWG, SOG, FW
goalies:  W, GA, SV, ,SHO

each stat’s total will concur to form the weekly fantasy point total.

Here are the values for each stats:

Goals : 4
Assist : 2.5
Points : 2.5
Plus/Minus : +/- 1.5
Penalty Minutes : 0.2
PowerPlay Points : 1
ShortHanded Points : 4
Game Winning Goals : 0.5
Shots On Goal : 0.2
Faceoffs Won : 0.25
Blocked Shots : 0.3
Hits : 0.25
Take Aways : 0.6
Wins : 8
Goals Against : -2.5
Saves : 0.4
Shutouts : 12

FPT (Fantasy Points Total) =  A

b)  Match-up Outcome Points

-Scoring Categories-
offense: G, A, P, +/-, R*, DA**, PPP, SHP, GWG, SOG, FW
goalies:  W, GAA, SV%, SV, ,SHO

* R = Roughness = (Penalty minutes) + (Hits)
** DA = Defensive Awarness = (Blocked Shots) + 2.3*(Take Aways)

goalies will need to play at least two games per week for their totals to be counted.

The team that wins more stats in the match-up will get the Win.
A Win in the weekly match-up will provide B = 120 points.
A Tie in the weekly match-up will provide B = 60 points.

c)  Match-up Score Points

-Scoring Categories-
offense: G, A, P, +/-, R, DA, PPP, SHP, GWG, SOG, FW
goalies:  W, GAA, SV%, SV, ,SHO

goalies will need to play at least 2 games per week for their totals to be counted.

each won stat brings 5 points.
each tied stat brings 2.5 points.

If for example your team wins 9-3, that week it will register C = 9 x 5 + 4 x 2.5 = 55 pts

As a result, the winning team that particular week would totalize A+B+C:
A (FPT) + 120 (MOP) + 55 (MSP) = A+175 points

This is the number to add to the total that determines the standings.

Obviously, during the playoffs the match-up outcome is the only thing that will count.

                               ----LEAGUE CHANGES----

Whatever change may be implemented, it has to be previously debated within the league commission.

Before performing any change, any possible consequence on former GMs’ decisions/strategies (based upon the previous rules) must be evaluated in order to avoid or at least minimize any unfair effects (as not all the teams may be affected in the same way). For that purpose, once approved, rulebook-changes that would significantly affect previous strategies will need a period of time before their entry into force.

-Sanctions & Relocation
The league holds the right to move a franchise and change its ownership whenever the management fails to meet the minimum standards required, i.e. regularly updating the lineup on both leagues AND showing an effort to keep the roster competitive.
If an ownership has to quit during the season or can’t keep up with these standards for a period of time, it is expected to entrust an adjuvant to manage the team or to make the team’s account data available.
Updating the lineup means compiling it completely, in a way supposed to give you the most chances to win the matchup. Whenever it's evident you are not acting accordingly with this purpose and, more in general, with the ones of the rules, the league will have the chance to take away the eventual resulting advantage* and to find a new GM for your team.

*example: under these rules, even taking part in the consolation playoffs, last season Honolulu would have not been allowed to compete for the 1st overall draft pick and the cap bonus.

Relocation policy
Premise: any change must be performed during the off-season.

a) teams whose ownership remained unchanged
Prohibition of both relocation and change of team's name for at least 4yrs from the last modification;
chance for relocation (only in the same conference, unless in the other one a new owner entering the league shows the will to change the conference of its inherited franchise) and/or change of team's name become available after 4 yrs through the payment of a fine worth 2M (to be applied to the following season salary cap).

b) New co-GM
Prohibition of relocation for 4 yrs just like if the ownership remained unchanged.
If the new GM is going to be the only co-GM of the team, change of team's name becomes available through the payment of a fine worth 1M (to be applied to the following season salary cap).
Max two changes of team's name are allowed in franchise history, no matter how many new co-GMs succeed (however it will still be allowed to go back to one of the previous names through the payment of 1M).
If the new co-GM joins a team where another co-GM stays in charge, the ownership will be considered untouched (see case a)

c) Ownership change (the new GM replaces the previous management)
Free relocation within the same conference and free change of the team's name (League Commission will have the chance to assess fines if the abandoning GM rejoins later on).
Relocation to the other conference available (Commission approval still necessary) only if a GM of the other conference is willing to switch: both teams would be fined 2M (fees to be applied to their following season salary caps).
If during the same offseason two new GMs enter the league in two different conferences, the Commission will have the chance to let them switch conference without applying any fine
.

- New ownership Compensation
In case of ownership change, the League Commission will determine whether the entering GM deserves a compensation or not, depending on the situation of the inherited team.
The eventual compensation will be inspired by the following guidelines, which represent a superior limit for the assessable award:

No compensation if the new GM is brought in by the abandoning GM (even if under the necessary approval by the League Commission).

If instead the new GM chosen by the LC is supposed to have no legacy wth the previous ownership, some compensations may be assessed by the LC in the following Entry draft:

- Teams that finished 13th->16th the last regular season
Missing picks in the following draft
1st rounder: compensatory pick at the end of the 1st round
2nd rounder: compensatory pick at the end of the 3rd round
3rd rounder: no compensation. If, in addition to missing this 3rd, the team doesn't have a 3rd rounder nor a pick in the entire draft of the following year, a pick at the end of that draft will be awarded.

- Teams that finished 7th->12th the last regular season
Missing picks in the following draft
1st rounder: compensatory pick at the end of the 2nd round
2nd rounder: compensatory pick at the end of the 3rd round
3rd rounder: no compensation

- Teams that finished 1st-> 6th the last regular season
Missing picks in the following draft
1st rounder: compensatory pick at the end of the 2nd round if the team doesn't have any 2nd rounder either; compensatory pick at the end of the 3rd round if the team still has a 2nd rounder
2nd rounder: no compensation
3rd rounder: no compensation

-Expansion
To be discussed (mechanics, available options, ...)

                                           ----FREE AGENCY----
                                                      (up to date)
(the specified dates/deadlines could change from one year to another; the ones currently reported are referred to the 10/11 season. All times are CET)

The free agency is the process that allows GMs to acquire draft-ineligible players who are not under a protected running contract.

GMs must comply with two basic conditions:
- the sum of the running contracts and of the leading offers must always stay under the cap (100M unless bonus/penalties are applied).
- the number of signed contracts must not exceed 50.

There are three kinds of free agents:

UFA = unrestricted free agent = any player without a valid running contract (and not declared RFA) who has already played at least 10 NHL regular season games.
UFAs get freely assigned to the team that wins the open bidding.

RFA = restricted free agent = a player who is declared restricted by his team once his contract expired.
Compensation is awarded (if due; see the RFA paragraph in the contracts chapter) should the player get signed by a different team.
If during the september FA session the player gets offered a new contract but is then retained by his team, he will stay for only one more year with the same salary specified in the winning offer.
If the RFA doesn't receive any offer during the free agency, he will remain on the same team one more year with the same salary of his expiring contract.

EFA = Exceeding Free Agents = a player still under (a non entry draft) contract for the following season, but not protected by his team for the upcoming september free agency session.

- Preparation for the september free agency session
GMs can protect a maximum of 16 players under contract; as explained in the "contracts" chapter already, players under entry draft contracts do not contribute to this number as they are automatically protected until the expiration of their contracts.
Protected players are not eligible for offers by other GMs and their running contracts remain untouched.
Players under contract who are not protected become EFA.
Among the players whose contracts has expired, three (plus players with expiring entry draft contracts not longer than 3yrs) can be declared RFA.
Each team has to set their protected players and their restricted free agents within september 7th at midnight.
On september 8th at 10 o'clock, all the unrestricted players with expired contracts will become UFAs and the september free agency will start, so please double check on september 7th that everything on your roster is set accordingly with your wishes.

- September free agency
This session will open on september 8th at 10 o'clock and will finish on october 1st at midnight.
All UFAs, EFAs and RFAs become eligible for open biddings altogether as soon as the free agency starts. However, EFA's and RFA's markets only last one week and are set to expire on september 15th at midnight.

The september free agency session is the only opportunity for GMs to sign to multiyear contracts players who are not eligible for the entry draft.
It is possibile to offer to any FA (UFA, EFA or RFA) contracts of 1, 2 or 3 years.
The offered salary will stay the same along the entire legth of the contract.
UFAs are up for grabs and will freely join the team that wins the open bidding, whereas RFAs and EFAs will join the new team only if the previous holder decides not to match the winning offer.

It will not be possible to complete trades during the september FA session.
It will still be possible to complete off-season buyouts though.
The roster will remain open for free transactions (no waivers for eligible players moved from the main roster to the farm team). However, GMs will still have the opportunity to purposely put players on waivers using the league forums; obviously, if the player will get claimed his salary will not come off the books instantly (like it does happen during the regular season), but only after the waiver process will be completed.

-Bidding process_UFA-
The launching offer can not be lower than a predetermined starting price that depends on players' position and past performances.
For UFAs the system calculates the starting price through the following charts, where for each player the number to be considered is the arithmetic mean of the fantasy points totalized in the previous two seasons.
Centers
0-170 -> 0.5M
170.1-270 -> 0.8
270.1-360 -> 1M
360.1-450 -> 1.2M
450.1-530 -> 1.5M
530.1-600 -> 2M
600.1-650 -> 2.5M
650.1-700 -> 3M
700.1-750 -> 3.5M
750.1-850 -> 4M
850.1-950 -> 4.5M
>950 -> 5M
Wingers
0-100 -> 0.5M
100.1-200 -> 0.8
200.1-270 -> 1M
270.1-320 -> 1.2M
320.1-370 -> 1.5M
370.1-420 -> 2M
420.1-470 -> 2.5M
470.1-520 -> 3M
520.1-600 -> 3.5M
600.1-700 -> 4M
700.1-850 -> 4.5M
>850 -> 5M

Defensemen
0-100 -> 0.5M
100.1-150 -> 0.8M
150.1-190 -> 1M
190.1-230 -> 1.2M
230.1-270 -> 1.5M
270.1-350 -> 2M
350.1-450 -> 3M
450.1-550 -> 4M
>550 -> 4.5M

Goaltenders
0-100 -> 0.5M
100.1-150 -> 0.8M
150.1-200 -> 1M
200.1-250 -> 1.5M
250.1-300 -> 2M
300.1-400 -> 2.5M
400.1-500 -> 3M
500.1-580 -> 3.5M
580.1-650 -> 4M
>650 -> 4.5M

Note that GMs do not need to bother about these numbers as the system will automatically provide the right starting price for each available player.

To make a bid for a player who already got offered a contract you need to outbid the leading offer by at least 0.2M. That minimum number grows up to 0.5M during the last 12hrs of life of the leading offer.
The yearly salary is the only factor to determine which offer is higher (for example, 3.2M per 1yr is a legit offer that outbids a previous 3M-3yrs offer); i.e. the duration of the contract it's useless for this matter, hence you can not outbid a previous offer only by offering a longer contract.

Please note that in the last 24 hrs of the market it will not be possible launching new biddings for UFAs (deadline to do that is on september 29th at midnight), but only offering on biddings that are already underway.

The system will prevent you from placing any offer that do not meet one (or more) of the above requirements or that potentially brings your payroll over the cap.
In fact, any new offer is automatically a leading offer (i.e. the highest running offer for each ongoing bidding) and, as such, counts against the cap (until the offer gets topped).

The duration of offers depends on the date they are placed and varies accordingly with the following rules:
Offers placed between 08/09 and 14/09 expire after 72 hours.
Offers placed between 15/09 e il 23/09 expire after 48 hours.
Offers placed between 24/09 e il 30/09 expire after 24 hours.
Please note that what matters is the time of each single raising offer and not the original time of the launching offer.

As soon as a leading offer expires without being outbid by any higher offer, the bidding is considered over and the player is instantly assigned to the team who submitted it with the contract numbers specified by the winning offer.

-Bidding process _RFA&EFA-
New biddings can be launched only within september 12th at midnight.
Players that don't receive any offer within that deadline will go back to their original teams and it will not be possible to offer for them anymore (until next year off-season).
The launching offer can not be lower than the starting price established by the system for that particular player. For RFAs and EFAs the starting price is obtained adding 0.2M to their previous salary.
The minimum raise over the leading offer stays constant over the whole week and equal to 0.4M.
Every offer lasts only 24 hours.
When the leading offer expires without being outbid by a higher offer, the bidding is considered over.
The team that previously owned the player will then have 24 hours to decide to match the winning offer, thus retaining the player, or not to match it, thus letting the player join his new team under the terms specified in the winning offer.
Winning offers for EFAs and RFAs count as active offers (against the cap) until the team that owns the rights of the player matches them.

-Final secret bids-
If a bidding remains unresolved by the end of the market, the player's destination will be determined through secret bids.
All the teams that submitted an offer for the free agent will have 24 more hours to send an offer through PM to a designated moderator (someone who is not eligible to bid for that player).
Offers will have to provide a higher salary than the one of the last public offer submitted (keep in mind that figures are rounded down to the closer .1). Besides, any offer that would bring the payroll over the cap will be discarded.
If no one among the eligible GMs sends a valid secret offer, the player is assigned to the last team that made a public offer for him.
If instead secret offers are sent, the player is assigned to the team that submitted the one with the highest salary.
If two (or more) offers provide the same salary, the one with the longer contract wins and gets the player.
If two (or more) secret offers provide exactly the same contract, the player is assigned to the team that was the first to offer during the bidding (hence, the team that launched the bidding comes first, then the one who placed the first raise and so on).

                                           ----FREE AGENCY----
                                                   (Italian version - out of date)

- Definizioni

UFA=unrestricted free agent:
RFA=restricted free agent:
EFA=exceeding free agent:

bidding floor charts
pts must be the arithmetic mean of the totals recorded by the player in his last two seasons in the NHL
(in case he didn't play in the NHL the last season, his resulting category will be declassified by one level. If he has played only one NHL season in his career, that only season will provide his pts, but again,his resulting category will be declassified by one level)
[       Goalies*        ] --------- [   Defensemen    ] -------------- [      Forwards     ]
0.5 M ---------- 0-15 pts -> 0.5 M --------------- 0-20 pts -> 0.5 M
(-20)–(-11) -> 1 M ------------16-25 pts -> 1 M --------------- 21-35 pts -> 1 M
(-10)–(-3)   -> 2 M ----------- 26-35 pts -> 2 M --------------- 36-45 pts -> 1.5 M
(-2)–(+2)    -> 3 M ------------36-45 pts -> 3 M --------------- 46-55 pts -> 2.5 M
(+3)–(+9)    -> 4 M ----------- 46-55 pts -> 4 M --------------- 56-65 pts -> 3.5 M
> (+9)        -> 4.5 M ----------  >55 pts   -> 5 M ---------------- 65-75 pts -> 4.5 M
--------------------------------------------------------------------------   >75 pts -> 5.5 M
* the indicator to be used for goalies is given by 'number of Wins minus GAA x 10' from the previous season only.
any goalie that doesn't reach 3 Wins will be automatically assigned a 0.5M bidding floor.

Offerta Precedente/Base d'asta: “copia/incolla riga dell'off.precedente” / “salario di base d'asta”

-- PLAYER ROLES--

Check the post below about the FO-R System to automatically adjust players role during the season and the offseason.
NB: FO-R will change C to C-LW. If the player is a RW you have to request it if not adjust by the administrators.

http://forum.playitusa.com/viewtopic.ph ... 2#p2895662

- ENTRY DRAFTEES EXCEPTION
As remarked in the first post of this thread, the roles assigned during the off-season will stay the same from September to the end of our playoffs; however, an exception to that rule could be made for entry draftees entering the league:
to allow corrections on possible mistaken roles assigned to players that had yet to be seen play in the league, GMs will have the chance to ask for a change of an entry draftee’s role as long as he will have played no more than 20 regular season games in the NHL.
Also free agents with less than 20 games can be asked for a role change, but they can't be signed before (even LTIR contracts) or have auction pending on them.
No exceptions will be considered after the 20 games mark.
